RE-UP

Hi,

after some gentle encouragement, I have decided to start updating this badboy again.

I mostly stopped because I'm a cheap bastard and my medium for sharing the podcasts I create wanted money from me to store them. The sullen cheek of those capitalist scum.

Anyway, I've got a plan B which involves using Mixcloud and DropBox to WIN! The great thing about Mixcloud (as you can see from the player below) is that it will actually break down the podcast into listenable chunks for you so that you can actually see what you are listening and skip bits you don't like. DA FUTURES and stuff.

I'd also like to remind you that these are hosted and broadcast on www.spritplantsradio.com so you might want to swing by there. There's loads of other DJ's hosted there (on the archive that they have) - I can't say I'm particularly familiar with their work but if you're bored of cutting edge dance mixes by todays hottest aritsts at the boiler room it's somewhere else to look.

Somebody is watching

People, looking at my blog in the last few days? I'm amazed.

Near haikus notwithstanding, I thought the world had forgotten about this. I certainly had. That doesn't mean I'd stopped with the music though, so here's the results of the last few months

In case you're interested, I have the April cast going out tonight at

http://www.spiritplantsradio.com/

20:15 EST (which is something like 2 in the morning here in the UK)

Can't upload this because Divshare have decided they want money from me for any file larger than 20MB

The amazing disappearing blogcast

I have absolutely no idea where these podcasts have gone - I could have sworn I uploaded them to this site. In the (frankly unlikely) event that you are paying attention and you have a podcast sized hole in your life the great news is that you have five (read it! FIVE!) podcasts to catch up on. Standard quality assurances apply April 2012 May 2012 June 2012 July 2012 August 2012 Enjoy!

Podcast March 2012

A podcast hastily assembled following a couple of days in Paris. I'd love to tell I spent that time imbibing a series of exotic musical influences but actually I spent it in an office near Vaugirard metro looking at Powerpoint.

Hopefully that doesn't come across on the cast...

February podcast

The sound of progress. It's also the sound of a man in a bedroom with a sock on a microphone. An hour of music (minus the time I dedicate to the sound of my own voice) goign from guitars through to dance.

I endorse this production.

January cast

Hello cool kids,

here's my podcast from the 22nd January. Very nice it is too.

New Year

Congratulations! If the Mayans are right I've only got another eleven of these to do and then I'm out!

anyway, here's the last quarters podcasts in reverse order

October 2011 - my lazy podcast

Sandwiched between the crushing pressure of work and the curshing lack of motivation on the other, I dusted off some of my favourite music of the last twenty five years for your listening pleasure. Anyone that knows me has probably had me try and force some of this on them at some point. If you're one of those people, I'm big enough to accept that you were wrong in not agreeing with me.

November 2011

A return to the standard format with new music and shit. This is one of those where I actually enjoy the music all the way through (I'm a terrible advert for my own prodcut)

December 2011

I did a Christmas podcast, so i really should have posted this at some point during the Xmas period. If nothing else I can probably get away with reposting the same one next year because nobody wants more Christmas in January, unless you're one of those odd types that really do believe thaty it's the most wonderful time of the year. It's an alternative christmas, so it's actually not all sleigh bells and saccharine. If it were Christmas every day I'd probably turn genocidal.
